Each has a rounded V-shaped profile and seven cradle-shaped cross-members, with 7 mm powder-coated steel uprights. The distinction between overall and installed height is especially important here: the manufacturer lists 57 inches overall, including 13-inch legs, leaving 44 inches installed. That is a useful size for a managed shorter plant, but it is not a tall-season trellis for every indeterminate tomato. The set contains three ladders, and they nest for storage. Before buying, decide how the plant's branches will be directed or tied and whether its mature spread needs additional support. The narrow frame does not enclose a bush in the same way as a cage.
